Honourable and freedom-loving people of Iran,
Today, our collective presence, standing alongside grieving families and prisoners, and our conscious participation in memorial gatherings for our fallen loved ones, is a clear response to a government that sought to silence protest through savage killing. By calling out the names of the devoted lives who fell victim to the brutality of this regime, we declare to the ruling murderers that we are determined to continue the path our loved ones walked — the path for which they were drenched in blood and soil — and that we will never retreat.
In honouring the memory of our loved ones, we stand shoulder to shoulder and make the cry for justice of Iran’s mothers resonate in our gatherings and memorial ceremonies.
Let us, through the display of solidarity, unity, and empathy, plant fear in the hearts of the oppressive rulers and keep alive the flames of hope for a future without the Islamic Republic.
There is no doubt that victory belongs to a united and cohesive people, and no degree of repression can deter us from the struggle to achieve freedom.
By sharing the photos and names of those who have fallen, wherever we are, let us call out their names and ensure that their killers are never spared from our anger and protest. Our lost loved ones have been — and remain — the true heroes and leaders of the people of Iran.
May their memory be honoured.
