On 22nd December 2018, workers of Karun cement factory in Khuzestan, Iran, protested against the expulsion of one of their colleagues.
The workers gathered in front of the factory’s office building and demanded that their colleague be reinstated. The worker has 16 years of experience but was dismissed on 21st December 2018 apparently because his contract had ended.
The employer promised to reinstate the sacked worker. The protesting workers said that they would continue their protest if the employer fails to reinstate the worker.
