Campaign to save Hoshmand Alipour
We Mostafa Alipour and Amineh Moloudian, are the suffering parents of Hoshmand Alipour. We are hereby announcing that our beloved child, Hoshmand, born in the vicinity of Sardasht Township, in the North-west of Iran, is now a political prisoner. Hoshmand was arrested by the armed forces of Islamic Republic of Iran on August 3rd 2018, and has been transferred to an unknown location to be forced under severe torture to confess to crimes he has not committed.
His activities were merely informing the public about the conditions of Human Right activists and political prisoners, in particular Kurdish activists. Hoshmand has not committed any crimes nor been involved in any criminal activities. Our ongoing follow-up through national official authorities, for a non-violent, just, free from torture, access to free and fair lawyer, and respecting the rights of prisoners have not yielded any results.
Until now, there has not been anyone to answer us about Hoshmand’s condition and the offenses he has been charged with. As a result, our only hope is to appeal to the people of Iran and of the world to help and support our plea. We are asking for help from national and international human rights organizations such as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, as well as organizations and institutions that oppose death sentence, regarding the conditions that our child has been put through. We are asking all of you to help to echo our voices everywhere. We are asking you to please do not hold back any effort to help us free our child.
We, the Alipour family, are urgently asking for Hoshmand’s immediate access to contact his family, immediate free and fair access to a lawyer, and a fair trial, free from torture and forced confession. Our hope is to be able to visit our child again and his return to his family’s warm and loving arms.
