On 27th November 2018, contract workers of Petrochemical Polymer in Kermanshah, Iran, held an assembly to protest their low wages.
Considering the high prices of goods and high inflation, the workers struggle as they find it impossible to make ends meet with the low wages they receive.
Contract workers of other industries have also been protesting against the role that contractors play in the unfair deals and contracts the workers are given.
