On 23rd December 2018, workers of a ball bearing factory in Tabriz in Azerbaijan province, Iran, went on strike over unpaid wages.
The workers, who have not been paid for 4 months, stopped working and protested in the factory as the employer doesn’t pay the wages and refuses to respond to the workers.
The workers already struggle financially due to the high prices of goods and high inflation but are under increasing pressure now as the employer refuses to pay their wages.
