On 5th January 2018, workers of Kavosh (a company that manufactures pressure vessels) in Qazvin province, Iran, made an official complaint to the Office of Labour regarding the expulsion of their colleagues.
The workers have held assemblies and protested to object to the 80 people who have been sacked since 22 December 2018. Some of the workers had been working there for 14 years.
The workers demand the reinstatement of their colleagues, payment of their outstanding wages as well as their benefits. The workers say that the management of the company had promised to pay but they embezzled the money.
