On 15 September, 2018, workers and employees of Abadan (in South Iran) municipality, including firefighters held assembly in front of the municipality office and protested their four months delayed wages.
At the same time, construction workers of municipality built embankment at the entrance of Construction Corporation of municipality to express their objection to delay in payment of their wages.
News of the protest was widely shared in the city.
