On 2nd October 2018, staff of Imam Khomeini Hospital of Karaj, Iran, protested for the fourth day in objection to the non-payment of their wages and the future of the hospital.
The hospital has been sold off to the private sector and none of the contracts has been renewed, also there are news about the possible closure of the hospital.
The staff stopped working, gathered in front of the hospital and marched down Beheshti Street which is the main road opposite the hospital. The staff shouted “Shame on you” in their protest.
