The Islamic Republic authorities claim the 5 protesters who were shot dead and the 15 wounded on Wednesday in the southern town of Izeh were attacked by a number of “unknown” assailants.
However, these “assailants” are not “unknown” to the people”. We have known them for 43 years. They sit in the Supreme Leader’s office, in the Islamic Assembly and in the government – and issue the orders to kill. They sit in the Islamic Republic Judiciary, in the garrisons and in the Basij bases.
These “unknown” individuals are the same people who have killed over 300 people in the past two months; who massacred around 1,500 people during the November 2019 protests; who executed tens of thousands of dissidents and activists in the 1980s; and whose killing machine has not stopped for a moment over the 43-year rule of the Islamic Republic. The “unknown” individuals are those who deliberately by the press of a button murdered 176 innocent people onboard a passenger plane.
The whole world knows them.
However, these murderers are scared to reveal their identities. They deny their murders. Their ranks are in disarray. They are confronted by a massive revolution. But one thing is certain, as shouted by the people in the protests: “Behind every one you kill stands 1,000 people!”. With every murder, more people are coming out and the revolution is going higher and higher.
The time for intimidation is up. It is time for the ruling murderers to tremble. We will overthrow the killers and prosecute every one of them in public courts for the crimes they have committed against the people for over 43 years.
