On 5th November 2018, workers of Tehran’s Metro Line 6 held an assembly to protest against 6 months of unpaid wages and insurance benefits.
The workers protested in front of their employer’s head office, raising also other demands that include increasing safety at the workplace.
In the past two months, two workers lost their lives due to a lack of safety standards in theTehran Metro and thus the workers demand urgent action from their employers to make sure that “safety of workers” is a priority.
